PTS, Inc. Wins National Stevie Award for ‘Best Overall Service Business’ in 7th Annual American Business Awards for Women in Business

Conshohocken, PA, USA, November 12, 2010 – Pediatric Therapeutic Services (PTS), Inc. was announced today as the winner in the competitive ‘Best Overall Service Business’ category for companies up to 100 employees at the 7th Annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. This international competition recognizes the accomplishments of outstanding women executives, business owners, and the organizations they run.  

PTS Managing Partner Pamela Hackett attended the award presentation at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.  In accepting the Stevie Award, Hackett said: “We are humbled and honored to be recognized. The Stevie Awards dinner is a wonderful celebration of women’s achievements in the business community.”

“We have spent more than a decade creating a company whose first priority is doing the ‘right thing’ for children with disabilities,” added PTS Managing Partner Diana Fongheiser. “All of our growth and success has come from staying true to that core value.”

The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are produced by the creators of the prestigious American Business Awards. The ‘Stevies’ are widely considered to be the world’s premier business awards. More than 1,200 nominations in 54 categories from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration.

Finalists in the competition were chosen by business professionals worldwide during preliminary judging in September and October. Final judging was conducted by members of a Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors in late October to select Stevie Award winners from among the Finalists.

“This award comes at a particularly exciting time for us,” Hackett continued. ”We’ve opened an office in Brooklyn, NY to help support our expansion out of southeastern PA into New Jersey, New York and Connecticut. Being recognized on the national stage will be a great support to those efforts.”
